Edinburgh Pipe Band Championship 2013
The Edinburgh Pipe Band Championship returns for a third year to the Royal Highland Centre on Saturday, 24th August 2013.
The last two years have gone from strength to strength and 2013 looks set to continue this trend, building on the 40 bands performing and 3,000 visitors who attended the event last year.
The Royal Highland Centre (RHC) is seeing a return to the golden age as the natural home for motorsport and track based events in Scotland.
With a rich heritage of motor events dating back to 1965, the Centre’s purpose built internal road network continues to be used for car events today and is looking at ways of building on the current events to ensure its reputation for track events is not limited to the history books.
The Royal Highland Show returns from 20-23rd June 2013.
We’ve been trying to capture what people love most about the Show and haven’t managed it!
That's because no one single thing makes it special. What does is that it offers an eclectic mix of the expected and unexpected that keeps the thousands who flock here each year coming back year after year.
